Responsible Gambling
Last updated · 2026-05-24
OddsGhost is a free stats and odds dashboard — we don’t take bets and we don’t make money when you lose. But the odds we display come from bookmakers, and we know some of our visitors will be placing real bets based on what they see. This page is here to make sure you know where to find help if gambling stops being fun.
You must be 18+
You must be at least 18 years old to use OddsGhost — or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction if that is higher. In New Zealand, casino gambling is restricted to 20+. If you are under the legal age, please stop using the service.
Signs to watch for
Gambling becomes a problem when it starts to:
- cost you more money than you can afford to lose;
- take time away from work, family, or sleep;
- cause you to chase losses or place bets you wouldn’t normally consider;
- make you feel anxious, secretive, or ashamed about your betting activity;
- require you to borrow money or sell things to keep going.
If any of these feel familiar — for yourself or someone you care about — confidential help is available right now, free of charge.

Ways to stay in control
- Set a budget before you bet, and stick to it. Decide an amount you would be comfortable losing entirely.
- Set a time limit. Long sessions tend to lead to worse decisions.
- Never chase losses. The next bet doesn’t owe you anything.
- Don’t bet when you’re tired, stressed, drunk, or upset.
- Use deposit limits and self-exclusion tools offered by your bookmaker. Most reputable operators provide them.
- Talk to someone. Friends, family, or a helpline. Hiding it makes it worse.
A note from us
We built OddsGhost because we wanted better stats and odds in one place — not to encourage anyone to bet more or more often. If using this service is making gambling harder to control for you, please step away from it and reach out to one of the services above.
